Looking for a Skokie lunch spot? Look no further than the Grecian Kitchen located at 3938 Dempster in Skokie.. This spot is directly across the street from my RE/MAX 1st Class office and I would recommend it for lunch or dinner.. They have a pretty selecive menu and I have never had a bad meal here in the 6 years I have been coming here. The roasted chicken diner is fantastic and at a great price!

Kosher Subway Opens In Skokie|Skokie Restaurants

 

The town of Skokie is home to a very large Jewish population.. From my experience, a big percentage of the Jewish population in Skokie and surrounding areas keep Kosher.. Several of my clients are Jewish and I have become very familiar with Kosher dining in Skokie and West Rogers Park over the years.. It only makes sense for someone to open a Kosher Subway.  From my understanding there are only a handfull of Kosher Subways throught the United States. This Subway is actually right next door to my Skokie RE/MAX office: RE/MAX 1st Class 3947 Dempster

Now for someone who doesnt keep Kosher or isn't familiar with Kosher Restaurants  and Kosher prices(usually more expensive than non kosher food), they might want to go to one of the other several Subways in Skoke.. There are No $5 footlongs here unfortunately..

However for those who keep Kosher, this is a great stop for a sandwich!
